If you look closely, you will see her everywhere. Not conspicuous. Not garish. But graceful, soft and deliberately chosen: the peacock feather. In a detail on tableware. In the pattern on a cushion. In the style of the logo or incorporated in decoration. A feather that connects. Which reminds. And that secretly carries the whole story of Onder de Linden. 

A feather with meaning 

The peacock feather symbolises pride, freedom and nature. For beauty that you only really see when you take your time. She is colourful, but not loud. Free, but not fleeting. Like our guests. Like our place. 

The spring connects what at first seems separate: the convivial gastrobar, the characterful function rooms and the atmospheric hotel. Each part has its own energy. But the spring moves between them. Subtly. Serene. And powerful. And for us, it is no coincidence that precisely this spring keeps popping up. As Johan Cruijff said, "Coincidence is logical." That also applies here. 

From detail to carrier of atmosphere 

When we chose the feather as a symbol, we didn't do so lightly. It represents who we want to be. Proud of our history. Free in our thinking. And connected to nature and each other. She reminds us to cherish the soft. To dare to renew without forgetting where we came from. 

Since then, she has been appearing more and more often. Not because she has to, but because it's right. Sometimes you see her right away. Sometimes not until the third time in. And that's exactly the point: style that grows, without intruding. 

And for those thinking, "Funny, I saw her right there..." - no way. Coincidence? No. Logical. 

Always in motion 

The feather also symbolises our desire to keep moving. To renew. To look again and again: what could be nicer, finer, quieter, richer? We do that together, with our team and our guests. No radical makeovers, but evolution with feeling. The spring changes with you - and remains itself at the same time. 

The spring of our story 

Under the Linden is a place of layers. Of history and future. Of simplicity and finesse. The peacock feather captures all that in one image. And maybe... you will see it somewhere soon. On a cushion, in a corner of the menu, in a drawing. Then you will know: this is not a coincidence. Coincidence makes sense.
