E-chopper rental conditions
To ride an e-chopper, you must be at least 16 years old and hold either a motorbike licence (A), car licence (B) or moped licence (AM). This is because an e-chopper legally falls under the "special moped" category, similar to certain electric bicycles. Don't have this driving licence? Then hire an e-bike or e-fat bike.
An E-chopper, like a moped, is limited to 25 km per hour. Since 1 January 2023, this means you are required to wear a helmet on the e-chopper. These are of course included when you hire the e-chopper.

E-bike hire
Do you prefer to get on your bike but could or would like some support? Then you can also hire e-bikes at Onder de Linden. Explore the Roden area on an e-bike and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Map out your own route using the finely-meshed network of cycle junctions or ask at reception for beautiful cycle routes.
