General
Onder de Linden has free Wi-Fi for its guests. To do so, select the network "Hotel Onder de Linden Guest". You can log in in different ways. Via Google, e-mail, Facebook or directly. After your visit, we would like to hear how you experienced your visit to us.
We are open 7 days a week from 11am to midnight 00am. Our hotel has 23 attractive and comfortably renovated rooms. The kitchen is open from 12.00 to 21.00 for lunch and dinner. Furthermore, we have several halls and several entrances/toilet groups. At the back of our premises is a large private parking area with bicycle storage for our guests.
Yes, the entire ground floor is accessible to disabled people. The 23 hotel rooms on the first floor are accessible via a straight staircase.
Food
Nowadays, there are more and more people with intolerances to e.g. gluten or lactose. We are prepared for this. If you let us know in advance, we will of course take this into account.
At our gastrobar, we serve chips with mayonnaise and a fresh salad with the main course as standard. As an extra, we offer the option of ordering jacket potatoes, hot daily vegetables or our delicious homemade rhubarb on the side for a small extra charge.
Reservations are required, which can be made online and by phone. Of course, you can always walk in and we will see if there is room.
Our gastrobar and function rooms are accessible for the disabled. We are also close to the Mensinge forest and Roden town centre. We definitely see opportunities for group activities where people with mobility problems can also participate.
It is certainly possible to combine a group activity such as a company outing or family outing with a nice lunch or delicious drinks. We offer various packages for our fun group activities but are also happy to think along with you. Visit contact with us for the possibilities.
Rent space
Our venue is a great base for meetings, training courses, presentations or seminars, due to its central location between Assen, Drachten and Groningen (A7 / A28). We have a large private car park behind the building. Whether for small or larger groups, we have a quiet and atmospheric room for any number from 10 to 100 people.
In all our halls a (fixed) beamer, projection screen and large digiboard are available. We also have sound equipment, such as music computers, microphones and headsets. And, of course, flipcharts and writing utensils are available.
The possibilities for a party at Onder de Linden Roden are endless. From children's parties to complete wedding or disco party. We have several rooms ranging from 25-30 people to up to 150 people during corona measures. It is important to us that you get the party that suits your needs and your budget. You can have the party partly or fully catered by us. (incl. buffet or dinner). We will gladly talk to you personally to make it a great and atmospheric party together. Please contact us or drop by.

Breakfast times are:
Monday to Friday 07.00 - 10.00. Saturday and Sunday from 08.30 to 10.30. This can be deviated from by agreement.
Check in
Check-in daily from 16:00 to 21:00. By arrangement, it is possible to check in earlier or later.
Check out
Check-out daily until 11am.
A late check out is possible. We may charge a small supplement for this.
There is no hairdryer in the room. Need a hairdryer? It can be reserved at reception.
At the back of our premises, we have a large 10 x 4 metre bike shed with several battery charging points. This shed is locked at night and the charging points operate on a timer.
We have enough space to park motorbikes safely and out of sight. Motorbikes also fit in the bike shed, which is accessible via a wide sliding door with lock.
Our kitchen is open daily from noon to 9pm. The menu can be viewed in advance on our website. It can be found under food and drink.
Pets are not allowed. In exceptional cases, consultations can be made with reception.
