First Gastrobar in the Kop van Drenthe.

As the first Gastrobar in the Kop van Drenthe, we bring something unique to the region. While the traditional restaurant focuses mainly on dinner, the Gastrobar offers an all-day experience - from a cup of coffee in the morning to a cosy drink in the evening. This switch is a conscious decision to offer our guests more than ever before. While the familiar quality of hospitality and atmosphere remains, this new identity allows us to be more creative with local, fresh ingredients and exciting flavour combinations.

So by continuing as Gastrobar Onder de Linden, nothing changes about the quality of hospitality and atmosphere you know from us. In short, it's the same Onder de Linden, but with a fresh twist.

A revamped menu.

Not only is the name different, we have also revamped the menu. Those coming for dinner now can choose from one of our three dinner concepts.

Just (h)honest.

(H)honest food at a fair price is important to us. Our chefs cook with passion and prepare the fairest dishes for you. We buy a lot locally and prepare it homemade. Even for our real classics like the schnitzel and Drenthe mustard soup, you can still come to the Gastrobar.

Enjoying together.

Our Enjoy Together experience is something you experience together. It is a culinary tasting from our menu without any choice stress. The only choice you make at the table with your table company is the type of tasting. Short, medium or long dining. Our chefs make a selection of the goodies on the menu and in season. All that is left for you to do is to enjoy together.

Ultimate dining.

You love delicious and long dinners. Alone, together or with family and friends. You don't suffer from choice stress because you think it's important to make your own choices. At ultimate dining, we offer you this choice. We give you a burgundian experience. You compose your own 2-, 3- or 4-course menu from our simply (h)honest menu. We surprise you with the right drink-food experience if you also choose the wine or beer package.

Of course, you can still join us for a good cup of coffee, a delicious lunch or a cosy drink. After all, that's the whole idea of a Gastrobar, enjoying the best snacks and drinks all day long. And for those looking for something special, we offer various packages such as high tea, high wine, high cocktail and high beer.

Local, fresh produce takes centre stage.

At Gastrobar Onder de Linden, we believe in cherishing what is close by. We are proud to use a wide range of local products in our kitchen, ranging from artisanal cheeses from Kaaslust in Veenhuizen, local meat from butcher Kroon, to award-winning beers from Groningen-based Bax Bier.

We consciously choose the best our region has to offer. By doing so, we not only support other local entrepreneurs, it is also better for the environment and you can taste the quality. Good food does not have to come from far away, as our kitchen staff proves every day.
