Summer agenda

With the holidays approaching, we introduce our summer calendar. Even more fun every weekend at Hotel Onder de Linden from 5 July to 5 September 2021.

The Loop of Roden

On Saturday 8 July, the cycling event of the North will again take place. The Loop van Roden is a prominent name on the list of northern criteriums and enjoys national recognition. It also brings with it a lot of Rôner sociability, with packed terraces and a lot of happy faces. Especially on the terrace of Onder de Linden, where you will find a real VIP tent.

North Dutch Neutjee Shooting Championship at Onder de Linden

Fine traditions should be cherished. The Vereniging voor Volksvermaken Roden traditionally organises the neutjesschieten at Onder de Linden every year on Easter Monday. A game for young and old that involves precision and tactics. This year there will be a very special edition of this old Drenthe-Groningen tradition; the North Dutch Neutji Shooting Championship!

Christmas at Hotel Onder de Linden

On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we have organised a Christmas walk. You can pick up a Christmas box with sweet and savoury snacks and a route description for the Heritage Route from our shop between 10am and 3pm.

Onder de Linden winner best terrace of Drenthe 2024

Monday 1 July was a momentous day for us. We participated in Misset Horeca's Terrace Top 100 for the first time and were immediately crowned province winner of Drenthe!

Gastrobar Onder de Linden has been open for a few months now and the first reactions from our guests are in. How pleased we are with the praise we have already received!

Under the Linden in awards

The year 2024 got off to a fantastic start for us. Not only did we receive the Golden Award from the Dutch hospitality awards. We were also rewarded by Booking.com and prolonged the Green Key Gold certificate.

Hotel Onder de Linden is number 1 hotel in Drenthe

We hebben fantastisch nieuws te delen. Dankzij jullie geweldige steun en waardering hebben we de titel ‘Nummer 1 Hotel van Drenthe’ in de wacht gesleept! We zijn vereerd en trots op deze buitengewone prestatie.

Niet alleen lokaal, maar ook op nationaal niveau hebben we onze naam laten schitteren. Landelijk zijn we op een prachtige vierde plek geëindigd. Jullie beoordelingen hebben ons een schitterend eindcijfer van 9.3 opgeleverd.

Nomination 'Best enterprise municipality of Noordenveld'

Every year, a prize is awarded to the best company in the municipality of Noordenveld. On the recommendation of the Committee of Recommendation, the municipal executive committee nominated 3 special companies from the municipality of Noordenveld and we were one of them!

Luxury hotel rooms for a perfect stay

Since 2017, we have been hard at work rebuilding the hotel and restaurant. In 2020, we started renovating the hotel rooms.
