Under the Linden in awards

The year 2024 got off to a fantastic start for us. Not only did we receive the Golden Award from the Dutch hospitality awards. We were also rewarded by Booking.com and prolonged the Green Key Gold certificate.

Roden; the village of Ot and Sien

On the way to the hotel and restaurant, you may have seen the sign; "Roden. The village of Ot and Sien." Roden, Ot and Sien and Hindericus Scheepstra are often mentioned in the same breath. Hindrikus Scheepstra, born in Roden in 1859, was a Dutch teacher and writer. He wrote the Dutch children's stories of Ot and Sien as reading material for primary schools.

Hotel Onder de Linden is number 1 hotel in Drenthe

We have fantastic news to share. Thanks to your amazing support and appreciation, we have won the title 'Number 1 Hotel of Drenthe'! We are honoured and proud of this extraordinary achievement. Not only locally, but also nationally, we have made our name shine. Nationally, we finished in a wonderful fourth place. Your reviews gave us a brilliant final mark of 9.3.

Nomination 'Best enterprise municipality of Noordenveld'

Every year, a prize is awarded to the best company in the municipality of Noordenveld. On the recommendation of the Committee of Recommendation, the municipal executive committee nominated 3 special companies from the municipality of Noordenveld and we were one of them!

Architecture, cycling routes with adventure stories

Onder de Linden has recently joined Arthuur Routes. Arthuur Routes are cycling and walking routes that tell the story of the region you are cycling or walking through. With the Arthuur cycle routes you discover interesting locations. In addition to the stories, you can also do assignments and puzzles to discover the region even more.

Luxury hotel rooms for a perfect stay

Since 2017, we have been hard at work rebuilding the hotel and restaurant. In 2020, we started renovating the hotel rooms.
