Dwingelderveld National Park

Dwingelderveld is located in south-west Drenthe and is Western Europe's largest heathland area. Most of it is managed by Natuurmonumenten and Staatsbosbeheer. Small areas are owned by private owners. Recreationists and holidaymakers can enjoy nature while cycling, hiking or horse riding. There is also a Night Walking Route. There is also plenty to do for children and the visitor centre is the start or end point of the route.
