Housekeeping: the job
Are you precise and do you have an eye for detail? Do you like to achieve clear goals? And can you manage in cleaning both independently and as part of a team? The work consists mainly of cleaning the rooms. This means you have to get the rooms spotless again, alone or in pairs, depending on the occupancy. This is because we have 23 beautiful hotel rooms (recently renovated). A guest must think that this room has never been rented before and the bed has never been slept in before. If we manage this then we have done a good job. It is very nice that at high occupancy you clean the rooms in pairs, they don't say for nothing "teamwork makes dreamwork!" We then make the bed together and then one of us works in the room and the other does the bathroom. The next room we reverse this so the work doesn't become monotonous.
Morning shifts are also part of this, when we clean the public areas together, including the hotel corridors. The toilets downstairs are also part of this.
Piece of cake? Certainly not! It is hard work, but fortunately the team has a lot of fun together so the day always flies by! Will you be joining our cleaning team soon?
You can start from May 2022. You will then be employable on weekends, holidays or just full-time of course.
