Anton and Janet welcome you with open arms at Onder de Linden in Roden. Anton, born and raised in Roden, knows every nook and cranny of this monumental building; Janet brings her rich experience in entrepreneurship and management coaching. Since 2017, they have been breathing new life into the beating heart of Roden. For decades, Onder de Linden has been an iconic meeting place, once home to such luminaries as Johan Cruijff. A place that carries stories and whispers memories.

Under the Linden is the ideal base to discover the three Northern provinces. Anton and Janet saw the magic and ventured to restore this house full of history and allure. With a vision that goes beyond bricks: a home where people meet, retreat, enjoy and taste the good life.

 

Today, Onder de Linden is more than just a hotel. It houses a warm Gastrobar for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, a boutique hotel with atmospheric rooms and a versatile function room centre for meetings, parties and gatherings.

Onder de Linden welcomes everyone who longs for hospitality, quality and character: from business guests and lovers to groups and partygoers. It is the place where peace and bustle merge, where history and present meet, and where the good life is always nearby.
